Meet Nutmeg

Today we’d like to introduce you to our super duper sweet and slightly timid torbie gal, Nutmeg!

Gorgeous Nutmeg came to us a terrified, defensive momma cat who was, in fact, so terrified and defensive that we initially thought she may be feral! Over time, we began to see hints of her true personality peeking through, and eventually all of that fear melted away and exposed an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gentle little soul. Though we fully expect more and more of the real Nutmeg to shine brightly through once she’s home and realizes she’s queen of the castle, for now she’s playing it a bit coy and reserved. Boy, does she go crazy for a good scratchies session though; whipping up fresh batches of award winning air biscuits left and right!

As sweet as she is, a loud, bustling household with a bunch of foot traffic and young kids and active pets will likely be very overwhelming for Nutmeg. If your home is a bit more on the chill side, though, that’s definitely more her deal! Hit us up if you’ve got the right environment for this cutie pie, and you can expect to be rewarded with allllll the world class biscuits and sweet purrs you could possibly ask for!

THE BASICS:

Age guesstimate: probably no more than two or three-ish.

Weight: pretty average adult female kitty sized, probably about 7-8 lbs.

Energy level: more on the chill side, but she may surprise us a bit once she really settles into a home!

Cattitude: how low can you go? Nutmeg is a SWEETHEART!

Our adoption fee is $150.00. A supplemental fee toward the cost of spay or neuter may be applicable, and would be paid directly to our veterinarian upon pickup from veterinary hospital at time of discharge. The animal will be made current on core vaccines and will be microchipped. Cats will be tested for FIV/feline leukemia virus and dogs will be tested for heartworm disease and tick borne illness.
