Meet Nox, a sassy and sweet kitty looking for a calm, loving home!

Nox is definitely a people-loving cat who will happily keep you company through all your daily activities, including keeping your lap warm while you watch TV! He just wants to be near people and chill. He's also been brave when new people have stopped by his foster home. At about 9 years old, Nox is a wise man discerning tastes and, like many of us, knows what he likes and what he doesn't like.

Nox’s favorite things:
Eating! He loves dry food, wet food, and crunchy snacks
Following his foster people around to rub against their legs and let them know he loves them (and wouldn't mind pets)
Laying on (or next to) people when they’re reading or watching TV
Napping in soft piles of blankets (again, near people if he can)

Nox’s dislikes:
Loud noises and fast movements (he can get startled/scared easily and hiss out of fear, but recovers quickly)
Rough or repeated pets, especially on his back end (he’s OK with cheek pets, head pets, and sometimes a body pet or two)

This boy was found outdoors with feral kitties, likely dumped by his former family. He was brought in by volunteers and the loving folks at A Cat’s Life Rescue saw how sweet and skinny he was. He also had old scars that made them think he was getting bullied by the outdoor ferals. So they found Nox a calm, safe, and loving foster home to recover in. Nox is thriving with his foster family - he is the only pet there right now, and he gets to hang out with his people all day
