Meet Neo
Little Neo grew up behind the flower shop and found himself and his brother in a feral den at the Los Banos Animal Shelter during an outbreak of feline-parvo, and came to Feral Freedom shortly before showing symptoms of the illness themselves. Sadly his brother passed away, but perhaps the fever is what let Neo show a gentler side (he was untouchable at the animal shelter) - and after his recovery he graduated from the TNR program and moved into little bean's behavioral hold.
Neo likes to play hard to get and resisted his foster's advances for affection until just 2 days before his behavior hold was up! A switch was flipped in his little head and Neo suddenly decided that getting pets was actually maybe the best thing ever and he became a little purr machine. His new favorite past-time is weaving between your legs as you walk, purring all the way, oblivious to how difficult he is making it for you to walk...
We won't say that Neo is easily won over - at least until you give him a churu, then he is pretty easily won over. While he does like his cuddle time, Neo sees himself as a serious hunter and will gladly spend all day chasing toys and begging you to turn on the electronic spinny-toy. He also accepts cuddles from other cats and would be most comfortable in a household with another cat.
You might notice Neo has a little head tilt. Neo has a small abnormality in the shape of his ear, causing him to tilt his head. He is generally unaffected by this and vets determined there isn't much to do and it shouldn't affect him negatively in the long term and instead gets to be an adorable little quirk as he will always be looking at you rather inquisitively.
