Hi, I’m Nadia! I am obsessed with human affection, like truly I love you. I’m so pretty it hurts. I get spooked easily but actually want constant cuddles. I’m the biscuit queen often working overtime at the biscuit factory. Because I had a hard life before I was rescued other cats can make me nervous but I can tolerate them. I would thrive in a very chill home environment. I am looking for my forever person for endless cuddles, is it you? ?

Dumped outside on the streets of the valley, Nadia was found and fed by a good samaritan for about 2 years before they started calling rescues to finally get her off the streets and to safety. Nadia is SOOO sweet, grateful, and happy to be off the streets! She loves to nuzzle her head into your hand. Humans are her favorite thing ever. She also is used to other kitties, but she is a calico, so keep in mind they can sometimes like to rule the household!

Nadia would do best in a quiet, mellow household without a lot of commotion so probably no younger kids. She would do well with another cat as long as they are older and chilled out as well. But she would do perfectly fine as the only cat in the household, too.

She is about 3 years old; spayed, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, microchipped, and flea treated.

Currently in foster care in LA. We can transport to approved adopter in LA county and some parts of OC. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation.

Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats in our other spare time. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.

We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home!

We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. We currently TNR roughly 24 cats/month.

When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.

If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
