Mr. Carsen Nebelung Kentwood, MI

Mr. Carsen is a long-haired 3 year old neutered male Nebelung cat. Mr. Carsen is a strikingly handsome and distinguished gentleman, partly due to his beautiful fluffy coat. Unfortunately, his coat requires very regular grooming to keep it from matting, and he does not enjoy it and will sometimes bite reactively when brushed in certain areas. He can also do this is occasionally if he is surprised by or uncomfortable with being pet, so he will require a home without young children. He can be very sweet and cuddly with his people when he is comfortable, and has made a lot of progress in his foster home with this and even enjoys being brushed in certain areas now. Mr. Carsen is good with dogs and other cats. He likes to follow his person from room to room and responds to voice commands more like a dog than a cat. He is also very vocal kitty and will let you know if you missed treat time. Mr. Carsen is very food motivated, and the best way to distract him while grooming is with wet food and snacks. A patient and understanding adopter that is willing to work with him on his fear about being groomed and touched in certain areas will have a very cool and interesting kitty. Mr. Carsen is microchipped, neutered and UTD on his vaccinations.
