Meet Morty
This sensitive soul is currently living outdoors. He wont come inside. We have tried. We rescued him and his colony about 8 months ago... and he was inside for a time ... but he wont have it. He gets picked on something terrible by the other cats. So he stays outside. But I worry. I worry about the four lane road we live on... and I worry about the coyotes that come up from the power lines and pasture directly behind our house. Morty would really be better off in a new home. With his very own humans that want to give him a happy life. He is a sweet and sensitive boy. His sister, Snickers, is the same way. But she stays inside. Please consider fostering MOrty... or adopting him. Adult cats really need forever homes too! It is a truly compassionate person to adopt an adult cat!
Morty's back story:
The Bell Colony was an "At Risk" cat colony of 14 when we were first contacted by their caretaker. By the time we made it out to the location, there were only 10 cats living. We removed them all in just two days... bringing them back to our home based rescue. They have all adjusted well to their new lives, here, and we are hoping to find them a forever living arrangement. The cats of the Bell Colony were mostly older cats.
