Hi, my name is Moon, and I'm a stellar girl orbiting around 4 years old. My journey started when I was launched into a new home from a relative whose cat had kittens. Unfortunately, my human didn't have enough time to keep me in his orbit, so I found myself drifting outside, temporarily landing under a neighbor's house. But my lucky star came along--a neighbor who volunteers at ARNO. She became my mission control, getting me the help I needed.

I've experienced life as an indoor cat, and I think I'd shine bright in that role again. It's just taking a little time to re-enter that atmosphere. Watching 'Cat TV' and soaking up all the attention at the shelter helps me adjust. I love lounging in the warmth of your presence, getting brushed, sunbathing, and playing with feathered toys that remind me of birds in flight. I'm also a lizard-chasing explorer at heart. Chin and cheek scratches are like little constellations of happiness to me, and I adore our afternoon chats and tasty treats.

I was known as a friendly face in the neighborhood, getting along with everyone--even dogs and kids. I'm litter box trained, and if you give me a chance, I'll orbit around you as your best friend.

All cats receive spay/neuter, updated vaccines, microchip, and FIV/FeLv/heartworm tests________________________________________________

**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange an appointment.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs:

Puppies under 6 months - $300
Adult dogs (6 months - 7 years) - $250
Seniors (8 years and older) - $200

Cats:

Adults (1 year and older) - 1 for $125 / 2 for $200
Kittens (under 1 year) - 1 for $175 / 2 for $250

For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery.
