Molly has had a very difficult and sad life of neglect and hardship. She is estimated to be about 12 years old, but may be a little younger because the years of her life were not kind and made it harder to age her accurately due to wear and tear.

She once knew a home, but at some point was left outside to fend for herself, having litter after litter. At some point, she was even shot with a lead pellet, which she had to carry around inside her. Many of her teeth became broken and fractured from years of hard living and fighting off males and intruders.

When she was rescued and spayed, we found she also had cancerous mammary tumors. We removed the cancer and the pellet, and she has recovered and has a good prognosis for the rest of her years.

She is quiet and kind, she does not seek out human interaction on her own, preferring her own spaces so far, but is receptive to pets and handling and has even started to purr a little. She is remembering the kindness of people, and she deserves to have a loving home where she can spend the rest of her days in a sunny windowsill and nestled in soft blankets.
