Meet Mocha
Meet MOCHA, a handsome and sleek black-and-white, tuxedo wearing, shorthaired young adult male kitty. MOCHA is an initially shy sweetheart who transforms into an affectionate, purring, love-bug once he feels at ease. MOCHA's journey led him through various foster homes until he found his perfect match, where they discovered his preference for being petted on his rear during initial interactions. Since then, his personality has flourished, and he's discovered the joy of couch snuggles, belly rubs and bedtime cuddles with his foster family.
During the day, MOCHA delights in observing wildlife through the window, playfully batting around a plastic spring, and solving treat puzzles. [PLEASE NOTE: Mocha does have a propensity for chewing on houseplants.] He has earned the nickname "The Ambassador" for his remarkable ability to bond with every other foster cat he encounters. He truly thrives in the company of other animals, making it essential that he finds a forever home alongside furry friends. He also prefers a calmer environment, making him an excellent fit for a home with adults and older, cat-savvy children.
This intelligent feline isn't just all cuddles and charm; he's also remarkably smart, boasting skills like sitting on command and giving high fives. MOCHA's affectionate demeanor, coupled with his naturally large size, makes him an ideal companion during stressful times. He provides comforting therapy, accentuated by his soothing purr. MOCHA is also an angel during at-home nail trims and vet visits. If you're seeking a loyal companion, look no further than Mocha. Once he's had time to warm up, his affectionate nature shines through, making him the purrfect best friend.
MOCHA has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet Mocha in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $100 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
