MISSY - ft declawed Domestic Short Hair Harrison, MI

SAFE rescued by a group down state that does TNR and they found this cat that they felt was thrown from a car, because her jaw look busted kind of screeched off and it was swollen on one side and bleeding. They wanted to have a rescue take her, because they was afraid it would be costing them a lot of money! She had been previously spayed and probably the declawing was done at that time, but the vet said it was an old break and it would not be able to get restored without breaking it again. She also had a spot on her hip that was a spot of matted fur which they shaved, removed the scab and a lot of pus came out of it
So I thought maybe she had been shot, if they didn't like her well enough. She's been in for two surgeries..one on the jaw and one on the removing the growth on the back of her hip and nothing more can be done for it this time. She is friendly, she can be picked up and held also. She did have a little incident of some sort of little skin might that ate her hair around her neck (which was not ringworm) but after a shot of Ivermectin, it started growing back in. When she had the stitches removed from her hip, they gave her another shot of Ivermectin to keep that going in the right direction.. if you have any questions regarding Missy or want to apply for her, there is an application on our Facebook page for SAFE, you may have to copy and paste it to your email to send it but it will come to the address at the bottom of the app and that will come to me. She has been around a couple of non-aggressive small dogs with no problem..
