Minnie, Missie, and Loki Domestic Short Hair Manitou Springs, CO

Minnie, Missie, and Loki are an adorable trio of catolescents, all in soft neutral blacks and grays. Minnie and Missie are the two beautiful black sisters. Minnie is a bit smaller with a large white bikini, and Missie is a lil bigger with a wider face. Loki (Lil Smokey) is the handsome gray male. He was their foster brother and quickly adopted the girls as his family!

They came to Happy Cats after they were rescued from outside as small kittens as you can see by their tipped ears of courage. They have blossomed under the care of their loving foster family and are now ready to snuggle in with their new family!

This have come a long way from their hard life on the streets, working hard to learn people can be pretty awesome, but will most likely start out a little shy at first, typical Funny Valentines. But once they know you’re safe, they will turn into Snuggle Bunnies and shower you with love!

Minnie is the brave adventurer who will try new things first. She is the very definition of a curious cat! Once Missie and Loki see that it’s safe, they’ll soon follow suit! These youngsters are very smart and learn quickly.

They all love to be petted and will snuggle up with you, either on your lap or right next to it! They all also tolerate being picked up if you need to. Once he’s comfortable Loki will enjoy being held and nuzzled – and will even hug you back! He is very definitely a lap cat and can spend hours happily sleeping in your lap.

Minnie will also follow you around like any good little Kitty Admin and see what you’re up to. Missie will lie right beside you for lots of attention, and follow you around the house too! Plus she has the loudest, most appreciative purr.

They understand clicker training now and happily come to their names for clicks and treats. This kind of positive reinforcement will help them to learn and bond with you.

All these kitties love to play, both with you, each other, and by themselves. If you can offer a wand toy with feathers they’ll quickly learn that you’re awesome and will dazzle you with their gymnastics!
The girls really enjoy the laser, and they are all really into toy mice. They will come with some of their most favorite toys. And they really enjoy scratchers so giving them what they need to scratch will keep everyone happy.

To help them relax, they enjoy watching Bob Ross, the Happy Painter, on tv (but hey who doesn’t ?). They also really enjoy watching the outside world and find birds and squirrels fascinating, so an indoor window seat or patio doors would be heavenly for them.

These kitties will probably do well with other cats but will do best in a home without young children or dogs, as they are terrified of dogs, probably from bad experiences on the street.

Like any of our TLC kitties, loud noises like garbage trucks will scare them, but they’re bouncing back more quickly each time. Their curiosity may initially lead them to explore dryers and plastic bags, so keeping these closed or away from them will help keep them safe.

Their ideal home would be one where they can get all the love they’d like – and they usually all want it at the same time, even pouting if they are the cat being left out! And don’t let their initial shyness fool you. With your love and patience, they can blossom into your best friends!
