Hi, I'm Minkey - a big, handsome guy with loads of personality and a dash of spice! I might need some space at first, but once I trust you, I'll be your chill buddy, hanging nearby, letting you pet me, and even sleeping next to you. I'm not a lap cat, but I do have a snuggly side-on my terms! I also have a playful streak. I go wild for catnip and string toys-definitely the way to my heart!
I'm FIV+, and I have a history of urinary crystals so I'm on a prescription diet, which keeps me happy and healthy. I'm looking for a calm, quiet, pet-free home with patient cat-savvy adults who understand my boundaries. If you're looking for a quirky, loyal companion, I might be the one!

Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. From Cat Adoption/Cattery/Free Roaming Room (in shelter):
To meet this cat please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 - 5 pm one of on one of our open days, no appointment needed. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday, and all holidays. From Foster Care (out of shelter):
1. Copy and paste the adoption survey link into a new tab on your browser: https://bit.ly/SAScatsurvey 2. Download and complete the cat survey.
3. Save the survey to your device with a new file name that includes your last name. Make sure it's filled in when opened again.
4. Put the name of the cat(s) in the Subject Line of a new email. Attach your survey, add any additional information you would like us to know, and send to sasfostercatapply@gmail.com
