Meet Mini, our wobbly kitten
Our little Mini is a special girl with special needs. She was found abandoned at about 4 weeks old and taken to our vet's office where the vet took care of her for 2 weeks before she joined a foster home where she lives with 3 small cat friendly dogs and a cat friendly grandson.
Mini has Cerebellar Hypoplasia or in layman's terms wobbly kitten. She was born with a neurological condition that will not get better or worse. It is not contagious. Her condition is moderate. She is 16 weeks old and weighs 3 1/2 pounds.
Mini has been combo tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDs, both negative. she has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is ready for a home with experience with special needs kitties.
Mini is a typical kitten who is curious and playful. She requires help with food/water since her head bobbles it is best to hold her bowl. She goes potty in a cat carrier lined with potty pads. She can walk but wobbles with some falls. She has a wonderful spirit and gets right back up going wherever she wants to go. Her condition slows her down, but nothing stops her.
We have lots of video of her walking and playing for anyone interested. If you have experience, time and passion for a beautiful special needs kitten please contact Mini's foster mom Judy at judy-walters@sbcglobal.net for more information and an application. Mini's adoption fee is $150 to help cover some of her vet expenses.
