Meet Midori - Very Loving
Midori is such a sweet and loving girl. She asks for hugs and returns the favor. Midori loves to be held, brushed, pets and just about anything thay involves human interaction. She enjoyes playing with all type of toys. She would prefer to be the only feline in your life. ??
Midori tested negative for FIV but positive for FeLV (feline leukemia). Feline leukemia is a health condition. It can shorten the life of a cat: once the virus activates the outcome is not good. However, that can be 5 weeks or 5 years...maybe longer. Cats who are positive for leukemia do not require any special treatment or daily medication, just TLC! Currently, Midori has no health issues.
BTCR works closely with adopters who are opening their homes for one of our "positively fabulous" cats, and the collaboration continues after adoption all the way till the end of their journey. If you would like to know more about Feline Leukemia and our involvement after the adoption, feel free to reach out and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
** Would you like to know more about Midori? Start by filling out an adoption application at bit.ly/btcradopt or on bronxtails.org **
All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people.
We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed
