Meet Meru - Pending Adoption
Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!Â
**Adoption Interest Form REQUIRED via our website Rarerescue.org**
Meet Meru!
Meet Meru, a gorgeous young adult kitty with a heart of gold! At around 2-3 years old and weighing in at 9 pounds, Meru is the perfect balance of not too big, not too small. He’s the definition of laid-back but still loves to be social with everyone he meets. No scaredy-cat here—Meru is friendly, affectionate, and always up for a good cuddle. Whether it’s being pet, kissed on the head, or even held, Meru just soaks up the love!
He’s great with other cats and seems unfazed by dogs, making him an excellent addition to any multi-pet household. While Meru still has that playful energy you’d expect from a young cat, he’s past the destructive kitten phase, making him the perfect companion for someone who wants all the fun without the chaos.
If you’re ready to meet this charming guy and give him his forever home, fill out an adoption application at rarerescue.org to get started!

Visit our website/Click on Adopt to "APPLY" today! RARErescue.org
BREEDS:Â We are not breed experts. The breed(s) listed for each adoptable are best guesses or suggestions.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit organization without municipal or government funding. Veterinary/Medical expenses are constant for an animal rescue. Our adoption fees not only help to provide vetting and care for the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need in order to be made available for adoption.
Please understand that adopting an animal is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to that animal and there will be veterinary expenses throughout their life that can often cost several hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (without pet insurance), especially without annual checkups and preventative care. As a potential family for this pet you are responsible for their safety and that includes keeping them on your property.
***If you are not in the middle Tennessee area, transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes, depending on distance and local adaptability. We normally do not allow adoptions outside of 1.5 hours driving distance.
