Meet this sweetheart named Meru! She came into the shelter as a stray on March 6, 2024 and was never reclaimed so she’s now awaiting her adoption day. Meru came in a shy…very common with nothing familiar to her and all new people, smells, noises, living arrangements etc. Thanks to the love of the staff and volunteers Meru is settling in better daily and hopes her stay will be short. She is 8 months old, current on shots, and now spayed. She gets along well with other cats too. Having her very own loving home to call her own would make her so very happy. We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Petfinder as up to date as we would like. So please, COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to one or more kitties today! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery, and some vets honor the voucher 100%! Such a great deal -- while also saving a life!! All of our cats are tested for FIV as well as Feline Leukemia before being placed up for adoption.
Not quite ready for the commitment of adoption but would love to contribute to the health and happiness of our feline fur babies? We'd very much appreciate some litter, or food (especially kitten food - Purina is their favorite!). Maybe you will have some time to snuggle and love on them while you're here. The shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm (we close from 1pm-2pm for lunch), and Saturday 10am-4pm. Hope to see you soon!
