Hi, I'm Mayhem, and I'm in your house--or at least I will, if you adopt me! I'm a brown and white tabby boy of 7 months, and I'm sharing a cage with my friend Madness! You don't need Allstate to have protection from me, though you might think so when you come over to my cage. Yeah, I'm going to hiss at you, but this is to weed out the people who aren't cool enough to give me a chance. If you reach in confidently to pet me on my side, then I'm actually going to let you. I'll even purr once you've been petting me for awhile, especially if you have the courage to give me some head scritches. I LOVE scritches! But I also love keeping people on their toes, so don't be surprised if I hiss some more. It's just part of having a name like Mayhem, you know?
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
