My name is Maxie, and I came in with 5 other friends from a rough start but I have a heart full of love just waiting to blossom. I'm a one-year-old kitty who has overcome a tough start in life-I was rescued from a hoarding situation, but I'm now on a journey of transformation, and I can't wait to find my forever home!
I am the most playful of the bunch! I constantly am chasing a toy around and then will look all sheepish when you catch me! I can't wait to find my forever home where we can play and relax!
Despite my past, I'm learning to trust and embrace the brighter side of life. I've discovered the joy of cozy blankets, gentle pets, and sunny spots to nap in. I adore soft words and quiet moments, and with a little patience, I'll show you just how loving a shy cat can be.
Maxi is currently staying at our temporary location while we wait for our shelter to rebuild. You can come and visit them every Saturday from 3pm - 5 pm. The address is 1009 S Wolf Road hanger 8 door 2 in wheeling. No appointment necessary.
Maxi is spayed, up to date on FVRCP and rabies vaccinations, FIV and FeLV negative.
