Meet MAX THE MAGNIFICENT BLUE POINT!
MAX is a sweet, gentle, Blue Point Siamese boy. At 9 years old, his wonderful Siamese personality and gorgeous coat are fully developed! He also has amazing blue eyes!!!
MAX is the SWEETEST, MUSHIEST, LAP CAT WE'VE SEEN! He was just surrendered to us and he gives us head-butts, kisses, and loves attention. He will instantly be at home with your family and you'll know you've made the best decision (and friend) of your life!!!
His previous owner is being moved into assisted living and cannot keep MAX, unfortunately. It will likely be a little traumatic for him, at first, but ultimately, it is best for him. He has been a little anxious in the smaller space of a nursing home, and watching his owner lose her faculties, and he had been licking the inside of his legs, giving him some dermatitis. It has healed well, with a steroid and antibiotic treatment. He really is a magnificent cat and would be great for a senior, or a home with kids.
MAX loves people, but probably would do best in home where he is the only pet. He loves to be held, cuddled, and petted, but starts off slightly shy. Once he trusts you, he purrs a lot, and relaxes. MAX loves people and attention. He will be happy to share his love with you.
MAX is absolutely stunning and has the common Siamese trait of deep, blue eyes! You'll love this dog-cat!!!
MAX IS FULLY VETTED AND HE IS READY FOR IMMEDIATE ADOPTION! HE MUST BE PICKED UP BY THIS WEEKEND!!!
There will be a lot of demand for MAX. He will have an adopter very quickly! Make sure to send an email requesting an application. IF YOU ARE NOT READY FOR IMMEDIATE ADOPTION, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!!!
Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular cat or kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive.
All of our cats and kittens are rescues and seek loving homes.
All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention.
We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders.
Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.
