Two little kittens, as sweet as can be
Were found at a church, scared and hungry
For owners they searched up high and down low
None could be found so they knew where to go

Called in for the rescue, as a port in the storm
For kittens like this, it’s really the norm
So fosters are ready to open their heart
And give all these kittens a fresh brand new start

Two little kittens, with fur black and deep brown
Body and soul on the mend from being let down
Trying times show who cares and stands by our side
And who becomes family and in their hearts will reside

Matching his namesake Maui is bolder and brave
More outgoing and playful, ready to catch the next wave
Bigger in size with soft silky fur
He’s knows that you’ll love him, of this he is sure

Ohana means family, he’s on the search for his own
The shyer boy of the two is scared to be all alone
He’s smaller in size and trusts in his brother
Both boys are quite friendly with a wonderful purr

Almost 3 months old they’ve been to the vet
They’ve had some vaccines but they’re not done quite yet
They’ll finish vaccines and we’ll implant a small chip
These two little boys will also get a snip snip

Sometimes our lives can feel pretty rough
Like someone’s demanding to see that we’re tough
These lessons are taught to creatures great and so small
It can be overcome as Ohana and Maui sure can recall
