Hi, I'm Matt! I am a orange and white male, with a short coat. Born on July 8th, I'm a lively kitten with a heart full of bravery and curiosity. I love to play and cuddle, and I'm always ready to make new friends. My siblings, ( we are staying a bathroom for our safety which is where our names came from) Soap, Cabinet, and Shelf, and I were whisked away from our home by a magical wind that could sense our potential for love and adventure. It brought us here, to this founder's home, where we're waiting for our forever homes. My energetic spirit is contagious, and I promise to bring joy and laughter into your life. We are boxed trained, easy to trim our nails if needed I love feather toys, and chasing balls. Adopt me, and let's create our own magical story together!
An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet/greet can be set up. http://yvpr.org/catadoptionapplication.html)
If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes.
Meet/greets and adoptions take place at a site chosen by the adoption coordinator. If the cat you wanted to adopt is no longer available, please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through and it may be relisted. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations and worming. Flea treatment and veterinary care will be provided if necessary. If you are from out of town you will need a pre-paid spay/neuter receipt from your own veterinarian.
