Marvin Domestic Short Hair Newberg, OR

Marvin is a 5 1/2 year old short hair tabby & white male cat. Marvin is a survivor which is why he looks a little goofy in the photos. Marvin was attacked by a dog or a coyote and lived to tell the tale. Sadly he did end up with some severe battle wounds. When we got him he had 4- 5 punctures that were infected and he was septic. The vets had to shave both sides which left him with a mohawk! His coat is now finally growing back but it will take some time. Marvin is FIV + and diabetic and while that made it harder for him to fight the infection he did it like a champ! Marvin is a total sweetheart once he gets to know you! Ear scratches and wet food are the keys to his heart ??. Marvin is learning to love being an indoor kitty and will gladly lay next to you and watch your favorite show. He works hard making biscuits when he's happy and has the cutest trilling meow. A true friend he is! Marvin would prefer to be the only pet in the house. Marvin is a diabetic on a once daily chewable medication, given without issue..he's a foody! This once a day pill has stabilized his blood sugar and is about $70 for a month supply.

Marvin's adoption fee has been sponsored! He is fixed, chipped, dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, FELV negative and had a wellness exam.

We are accepting applications until Thursday at 5 pm. Decisions will be made by Friday afternoon and adoptions are on Sunday. For cats and kittens we do not do meet and greets.
