Meet Marshmallow
Not only is Marshmallow absolutely adorable, he’s also remarkably intelligent and active. He loves solving puzzles, learning new tricks, and even playing fetch with his foster family! His love for treats turns training sessions into fun and rewarding experiences for everyone involved.
Marshmallow’s big personality comes with a few quirks. He’s so affectionate that he sometimes experiences separation anxiety, which is manageable with patience, care, and fluoxetine—an SSRI easily mixed into his food to help him feel more at ease. As a natural hunter, he may also occasionally pounce on his favorite humans. Luckily, his foster family has learned to recognize his playful “hunting look” and redirect him with toys before he makes his move.
Because of his energetic nature and unique needs, Marshmallow will thrive in a home with an experienced adopter and no other pets or children.
If you're looking for a clever and playful kitty to keep you on your toes, Marshmallow may be your perfect match! Consider opening your heart and home to this one-of-a-kind feline.

These fees fund spay/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and combo testing (feline leukemia and FIV) for your adopted cat, rescue efforts, shelter, and veterinary care. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!
The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats. To find out more about us, please visit our website: http://thecatconnection.org/
