Meet Margarita
One of our lovely volunteers surrendered sweet Margarita to Country Acres Rescue. She found Margarita with kittens at a Nursing home in Salem, MO. This establishment had plans to "get rid of her", and gave our volunteer 3-weeks to find placement. Margarita would commonly sit on the Nursing home residents laps in their wheelchairs while they smoked their cigarettes outside. Margarita is a lap cat who adores attention, she is super loving and affectionate. She has a motorboat of a purr.
