Maple Domestic Short Hair DELTONA, FL

Maple is a special, affectionate, loving girl, looking for a special someone to love her forevr.
she has a slight deviation in her spine, resulting in compressed nerves.
She has required laser therapy, and we’ve been using a tense machine on her daily.
She gets acupuncture 2x a week
we have seen tremendous improvement!!
She no longer drags her hind end.
She can walk- jump, run, and play w the kittens in the wonky room!
She can use the litter box, but still occasionally misses the box.
90% of the time, she is unable to control when she needs to urinate / defectate.
her bladder / colon fills, hits the nerves in her back, and she will just go where ever she is at
She cannot wear diapers- as it restricts her movement tremendously.

Although Maple is ready to find her forever home.
We know this will be difficult for her.
Will someone tolerate her urinating and defecating around there home? No.
She does fine in our wonky room- but it’s allowed to be a mess?
She cannot be an outdoor cat- because of her nerve compression.
Ideally- she would do great on a catio, or screened in porch.
But a special adopter for Maple will be hard to find.

She is roughly a year old.
FELV/FIV negative
Spayed
Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated
And microchipped
Negative fecal.

She is the sweetest most social cat.
Always begging for love, attention, and affection.
She is the definition of a Velcro cat.
She welcomes all of the wonky kiddos in the room w open arms.
She comforts all the kittens, lays w them, cleans, cuddles them.
She has such a calm, caring, and nurturing soul.
She’s gentle w all of our special babies.

We know maple will be w us long term.
She will stay here for however long it takes for her to find a home.
In the meantime!
Maple has been upgraded to the “ kitten comforter” position and is an “official” employee?
