Mamma Hooligan "Hooly" Domestic Short Hair Grand Rapids, MN

Mamma Hooligan came by her name when she was brought to our rescue with five young kittens. Those kittens were lovingly dubbed "The Hooligans". This precious family was found in the yard of a good samaritan, trying to survive.
Mamma was protective of her kittens, but warmed up quickly. She let us pick up her kittens and hold them without any problems.When her kittens were weaned, she started to seek more affection. She loves attention. She'll run to you when you walk in the room. She does have a spicy side where she'll lightly bite your finger, or gently swat at you, but letting her do it, and not getting excited, will allow her move on to more rubs and purrs. She needs a home that will appreciate her affection with patience and not need to pick her up. She does not like to be picked up. For that reason, a home without small children would be best.
She is a very healthy cat, and loves to talk to you. She was tested (negative) for Felv/FIV.
She'd be a great buddy for a human not looking for a lap cat, but for a social companion. She does get along with most other cats- but we always recommend very slow introductions. Let us know if you'd like to meet this fun loving cat!
