Mama Creme Brulee & The Dessert Kittens Domestic Short Hair Warwick, RI

Hello, my furiends! Oh my goodness, do we have a sweet treat for you!? The sweetest family is making its Petfinder debut: Mama Creme Brulee and her adorable 5-month-old dessert kittens Flan, Tiramisu, Panna Cotta, Pudding, and Custard!

Mama is a petite tabby treat and loves to play with her kittens. She lives up to her name as being the sweetest mama of all! Almost a year and a half old, Mama Creme Brulee came to Scruffy back in June, very pregnant and gave birth to her five kittens under the watchful eye of Scruffy's amazing shelter manager. Mama's foster mom reports she has been an attentive mama to her babies and loves to play just as much as her kittens! I hear the dangly toys are her favorites...

Her kittens spend their days playing and napping. They are all very active (especially Custard - the most athletic of the bunch and the silliest; wait till you see how poofy his tail gets when he is excited!) and must be adopted in pairs or have another cat in the home. They have been living with an older dog in their foster home, and we suggest a family with older children for this high energy bunch.

The adoption fee for Mama Creme Brulee is $175, and her kittens are $250 each.

All adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies, and distemper vaccinations, proof of FIV/feline leukemia testing, flea treatment, deworming, and an exam by a licensed veterinarian.

Our shelter hours are by appointment only and are not open to the public. Many of our cats and kittens are located in foster homes. An adoption application MUST be submitted and approved before meeting our cats/kittens. We do this for the safety of our fosters and potential adopters.

Our adoption process includes the following:

1. Adoption Application
To be considered for this cat(s) or kitten(s), you MUST complete an adoption application:
- Through our website (preferred) at www.scruffypawsanimalrescue.org/
- Email a copy to scruffypawsanimalrescue@gmail.com
- Drop off a hard copy to either of our partner PetSmart locations (Johnston or North Smithfield)
- Mail a hard copy to Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886

2. Veterinary Reference
Please call your vet beforehand to permit the release of records to our adoption team. Out-of-state adoptions typically require an exceptional veterinary reference and are at the discretion of our adoption team.

3. Proof of Home Ownership OR Landlord Approval
If renting, the landlord's contact information must be provided so our adoption team can seek approval.

4. Home Visit
Please make sure you are located in our vicinity. We are based in Warwick, RI. Due to COVID-19, we are currently conducting virtual home visits until further notice.

**Please note: Our volunteers try their hardest to contact every applicant in a timely manner but are often overwhelmed with a high volume of applications. Please allow up to two weeks for a response. We ask you to please be considerate and refrain from sending multiple follow-up emails or submitting duplicate applications.
