Meet Major Tom

Major Tom is a total charmer! He is an attentive, calm, and caring older brother who watches after his foster siblings. He loves to run around and play with his friends on the catio, and then settle down for a cuddly nap!! He loves face scrubbies, butt scritchies, and belly rubs from his foster mom. He is ready to join his forever family!

Major Tom was rescued by his foster mom from a neighborhood cat colony in Houston with 7 foster siblings. Even though the 8 kittens were not all siblings from the same litter, they have bonded as “littermates.” They are all so happy they get to be house cats, and 4 have already been adopted! They’ve been taking care of each other, but they need your help. Major Tom and his remaining 4 siblings, Tina Purrner, Cat Benatar, and Axl Toes, are ready to find a safe and secure forever home.

Major Tom is great with cats. He's met a dog, and with slow introductions to a well-behaved dog we think he would love a new pup pal.

Major Tom is currently ~16 weeks old, is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health! He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home!

Major Tom and one of his siblings would thrive in a home together! Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair or kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here:

Major Tom, Tina Purrner, Cat Benatar, and Axl Toes are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along this route.
