Senior sweetie, Major Rascal is a major sweetheart, but he is going to need a very patient person. Change can be very difficult for kitties who are a little older!
With time and patience, Major Rascal will let his guard down and show you how much he loves to cuddle. He prefers privacy in the daytime, but at night he enjoys time with his human(s) - on a lap, hugging a shoulder, or curled up in bed. He loves belly rubs, hugs, and all the petting. If guests hang out on the couch for a while, Rascal might even come check them out and climb on their laps too. He purrs a lot, headbutts for attention, and gives little love nips of affection. This cautious explorer is best as an only pet, so he can get you all to himself.
He wants to be your one and only. With patience, consistency and kindness Major Rascal will warm up to you and reward all your time and patience. He is looking for a big hearted person with a quiet and loving home.
