Meet Maggie (bonded w/ Margo)
Meet beautiful senior Maggie! Maggie and her sister Margo (bonded pair) came to Fishtails after their former owner unfortunately became ill and was no longer able to care for them. Our awesome foster Kelsey took the dynamic duo in and they have been bringing so much love to their foster home!
Maggie is the shy and sweet one of the pair while Margo is the adventurous one. Margo does a great job scoping things out for Maggie and making her more comfortable. Maggie just wants to cuddle with her humans and give and receive love!
From her foster:
"Maggie is super duper cuddly, affectionate, and sensitive. Maggie pie, as we call her, is a short and stout bundle of love. She follows you around, rubs her head on your legs, meows, and purrs for head scratches. She loves her belly pet once she opens up to you and will make muffins/biscuits right on your lap and beg for your undivided attention.
Her favorite thing to do is sit by the sliding door with the screen to get fresh air. She can sit there forever watching the squirrels and birds. She mainly is a couch potato a loves to be next to you on the couch and laying next to you in bed."
Maggie requires a daily probiotic that is easily sprinkled on top of her food. She has a history of pancreatitis and would do best in a home where her family can be mindful of her health. Her foster can provide you with more information on how to care for her. She is a little sensitive and seems to prefer women so she would thrive best in an environment with predominantly women or with at least one woman in the house. Due to her history with pancreatitis, it is important that Maggie’s environment be as low-stress if possible (no dogs or small children).
Maggie is ready to live out her golden years with her sister in a loving home. She will reward you every day with head butts, purrs, and love!
