Meet MaeMae

Meet Mae Mae!

Mae Mae is a stunning long-haired tabby with a quiet charm and independent spirit. She enjoys daily pets and even occasional snugglesbut always on her terms, just like a true cat personality!

Mae Mae has been living peacefully with other cats in her foster home and would do well in a calm, dog-free environment. While she isnt a lap cat, she has moments of affection that feel extra special when she chooses you. Shes best suited for a family who understands and appreciates her independent spirit, and she has a soft spot for gentle, patient humans who give her time to feel safe.

If youre looking for a low-maintenance companion with a lot of love to give at her own pace, Mae Mae could be the perfect fit for your home! Could you be the one she learns to trust next?

Why adopt from Three Little Pitties?

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty youve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it!

Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through.

We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
