You ever feel like your mis-under stood ? That’s me- hi there- I’m Mabel! Pleased to meet you. I have been living a long time, considering I’m only about a year old- outside and scared and trying to be brave!!

This really nice woman fed me for months- before able to get me here. She never touched/patted me- as I was quite spooked!! You try living with no roof over your head and all these crazy and scary animals and noises- it’s terrifying !! I tried so very hard to be brave!! Anyway I’m thankful she fed me and got me here.

At first I was terrified- I mean really terrified- I’d hide in the back of the cage and hiss!!! But I realized they are very nice here and won’t hurt me- and then- voila- one day I decided to be brave and see what all this petting thing was about…and I LOVED it!! Turns out I’m super sweet and loving after all!! You have to come meet me!!! I am so pretty and very sweet now!! I just want a patient and loving home- to let me blossom on my time and feel safe- and I will be the sweetest girl ever!!!

Her past, and events out of her control, that took her a little bit to warm up and feel safe.
