Meet Mabel

Mabel is considered special needs because at her young age she had to go through surgery to fix an umbilical hernia. During surgery, it was discovered that she has patent urachus. Patent urachus is when the urachus did not seal off and there is a connection between the bladder and umbilicus. She could have possible respiratory or urinary issues, or another hernia. It is also possible she will live a normal healthy life.
