Meet Lynden & Winslow (bonded pair)
Lynden & Winslow
These two cutie pies are bonded brothers and will be adopted together. They are 4-month old domestic short hair black (Lynden has a white locket and bikini).
These little boys had a rough start. They were cruelly dumped on someone's doorstep with no information. They were cold, thin and afraid. They've spent a few months in a foster home and their foster mom tells us:
"Lynden and Winslow are funny, playful and amusing. Like all kittens, they get into things and need supervision. They are adventurous and curious, but always with an escape route in mind. Comically, Winslow steals socks right out of the laundry basket!
They have worked very hard to trust, and have become sweet companions. That being said, they still have a way to go. They remain skittish, though they are much improved. Their initial instinct is to slink away when I enter their area, but if I move slowly they will approach. Having a kitty tunnel has been very helpful. they can run in there and come out when they feel safe and ready. They also like high places like a cat tree or a tall chair. when they feel relaxed in their tall place, they accept and appreciate being petted. This also works if they are relaxing in their fuzzy beds.
Just lately, they have willingly sat on my lap when I am reading or watching TV. They are also interested in joining me on the bed when I rest. Real progress! the greatest advantage of all is that they are food-motivated. This has been my most effective strategy in making friends with them.
They are loving little boys who are learning to feel safe. With gentleness, patience and persistence, they will become even more wonderful companions, and a grand addition to someone's home. They may backslide a bit when introduced to a new environment, but that's to be expected."
Both kittens have been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchlpped and viral tested.
We think they will do best in a home without a dog or children. They could very well get along with another cat.

We are currently conducting in person adoptions on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5pm (walk-ins welcome, but appointments prioritized). To reserve an appointment to adopt, please complete an application by visiting www.MeowCatRescue.org/adopt and submit to adopt@meowcatrescue.org
