Meet Luna

Hello, my furiends! Welcome the adorable trio of 11-week-old kittens Luna, Ray, and Cora!

We have lovely little Luna, female, primarily black, long hair kitty with the cutest little white whiskers...a furry purry monster who has a thing for toes. She gets the award for most adventurous kitten - first to the top of the cat scratching post and the first to jump out of the playpen in the morning. (Luna: Adoption Pending!)

Who wouldn't want a little sunray in their life?! This Ray, the only male distinguished by his pointy white ears, is all play. His activity of choice is making biscuits with his purple purr monster toy.

Sweet Cora is learning her biscuit-making skills from her brother Ray. You often find her curled up with him after a long day chasing one another around their foster mom's house.

These are the most adorable kittens! They play well together, and there's no entering a room without these babies seeking out your attention! They should be adopted in pairs or will need another cat in the home.

Ray, Luna, and Cora would be OK in a home with respectful kids. We ask that potential out-of-state adopters have an excellent veterinary reference. They must return to Scruffy Paws for future vetting, which is included in their adoption fee. The fee for each kitten is $250.

Thank you for being so interested in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If you see this post, we still accept applications for this cat(s)/kitten(s). Please refrain from emailing us regarding availability.
All adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies, and distemper vaccinations, proof of FIV/feline leukemia testing, flea treatment, deworming, and an exam by a licensed veterinarian.

Our shelter hours are by appointment only and are not open to the public. Many of our cats and kittens are located in foster homes. An adoption application MUST be submitted and approved before meeting our cats/kittens. We do this for the safety of our fosters and potential adopters.

Our adoption process includes the following:

1. Adoption Application
To be considered for this cat(s) or kitten(s), you MUST complete an adoption application:
- Through our website (preferred) at www.scruffypawsanimalrescue.org/
- Email a copy to scruffypawsanimalrescue@gmail.com
- Drop off a hard copy to either of our partner PetSmart locations (Johnston or North Smithfield)
- Mail a hard copy to Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886

2. Veterinary Reference
Please call your vet ahead of time to give permission to release records to our adoption team. Out-of-state adoptions typically require an exceptional veterinary reference and are at the discretion of our adoption team.

3. Proof of Home Ownership OR Landlord Approval
If renting, the landlord's contact information must be provided so our adoption team can seek approval.

4. Home Visit
Please make sure you are located in our vicinity. We are based out of Warwick, RI. Due to COVID-19, we are currently doing virtual home visits until further notice.
