Meet LuLu

Not much is known about LuLu’s past, except that she spent several months fending for herself outdoors before being rescued. From the moment she was brought in, she was sweet and friendly with her rescuer/foster mom, showing no fear of humans or other animals. She’s adjusted well to indoor life and hasn’t shown any desire to escape.

LuLu is a calm and confident kitty. She does well on car rides and adapts easily to new environments. She’s generally quiet, only meowing when spoken to or if she needs something. She’s 100% litter box trained and very well-behaved. She loves cat trees, cardboard scratchers, catnip toys, and enjoys being brushed, petted, held, and carried. True to her cat nature, she strikes a balance between enjoying human contact and appreciating her independence. However, she doesn’t let her foster mom get too far out of sight and will often follow her around. Her foster mom describes her as a “perfect little angel” and “the chillest cat ever.” She has gorgeous green eyes and is always ready to pose for photos!

While she’s sweet and cuddly with humans, LuLu is a dominant “queen bee” when it comes to other cats. She’s been tolerant of the resident cats in her foster home after a slow, several-week introduction. However, she wasn't too thrilled about a new female cat being introduced to her space. LuLu has zero tolerance for other cats she sees outside the window and will fiercely protect her territory. Her compatibility with dogs is unknown. She would do best in a home where she’s the only cat, or with a male cat who doesn’t mind her being in charge.

LuLu is approximately 1 year old and petite. During her time in foster care, she’s been vetted, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, and is recovering well from surgery.

All kitties are completely vetted, which includes feluk/fiv testing, deworming, age appropriate vaccines and spay or neuter.
