We are a foster-based rescue. You will need an appointment to meet the animal where they are being fostered, with an approved application. Home checks and vet references are required for all adopters. Please only apply if you can pass a home check.

MEET LUCIE!

Ms. Lucie is an approximately 8 month old Tabby female. She is beautiful mixture of black and brown with the most elegant highlighted swirls of gold.

Lucie is very curious, but at her own pace. She will need a few weeks to settle in wherever she goes. A nice quiet room to start a trusting relationship with her forever home would be the most ideal for her. She wants so badly to trust and snuggle (you can see it in her face) but it will take someone with patience. After her Foster Mom had her for a few days, she was very interested in what all the snuggles were that was happening with another Foster. She gets just with in arms length, will lean on you and purr but doesn't quite want you touching her just yet.
Lucie will run to the door to greet you when you enter. She enjoys the kitty gogurt type pouches, and will eat it out of your hand. She loves to play with kitty toys and laser pointers. Lucie gets along well with other cats. She likes to play with the dog under the door but not so much for in person. We feel with a slow proper introduction, she may do well with a calmer, not-so-in-your-face type of dog who is willing to give her space.

Lucie would love to have a friend waiting for her at home, or please consider adopting another of our cats also listed on Petfinder.

Lucie is litter box trained, spayed, up to date on on vaccinations,  microchipped, and dewormed. 
 
Lucie's meet and greet will be in Tumwater. If you would like to meet Lucie in person, you will need to be willing to travel to Tumwater. 

Lucie's adoption fee is $150. If adopted with another one of our cats, adoption fee is discounted. 

An approved application and an appointment is required.

*While we try to ensure every cat is healthy, no rescue cat is perfect. Please keep in mind that ANY kind of stress can disrupt a cats life. New environment, new people, new food. Cats can sneeze or have a runny nose too, so please give them time to adjust. Many of our cats come from horrendous outside situations. Many had open wounds, infections, parasites, and were malnourished. Regardless, EVERY cat deserves another chance. Please take this into consideration when filling out an adoption application. All newly adopted animals should be established with your vet as soon as possible, before any emergency arises.
