Meet Lovebird! This cute girl came to us as a stray from NYC.
When she arrived she was skinny and super dirty, she was extremely lucky that a good samaritan spotted her and brought her to safety!
Lovebird can be a little fresh at first but that quickly gives way to her sweet and fun personality. She loves to play with toys and will rub her face on you to show you affection! Her favorite thing is food - she is a pro at figuring out enrichment puzzles and treat balls.
Lovebird’s ideal home would be patient during the first week or so and understand that as an ex-NYC girl she has to pretend she’s a little tough! Then they should be ready to offer her all the pats and toys once she’s comfortable.
Our favorite thing about Lovey is her demanding meow at dinner time and her little chicken wing leg.
Lovebird does have a congenital limb deformity (birth defect). It does not affect her AT ALL! She even uses it to push her toys around.
She will likely be more prone to arthritis in her adult years but requires no extra care at this time outside of a low entry litter box.
Other Cats: likely okay
Dogs: may be okay with cat-savvy dogs
Kids: respectful kids 12+ okay
DOB: ~2023
All Spicy Cats are spayed/neutered and UTD on vaccines prior to adoption.
