Meet London
London is very handsome and sweet - a classic black beauty - and ready for his forever home. He was was found very ill with a severely infected leg and was nursed back to health by the wonderful people at FAN and is now healthy and happy!
He loves crinkle toys and wands and is still learning to be confident and allow holding - it’s a work in progress. Also, he likes to “cover” bowls with wet food by digging the air :)
CHARACTERISTICS: Calm / Chill / Mellow, Gentle, Quiet, Goofy / Crazy / Hilarious / Silly, Affectionate, Cuddly / Snuggly, Gives Head Bumps, Likes Rubbing, Purrs A Lot / Always Purring, Can be held BUT on only own their terms, Particularly Food-motivated
If I was on a dating app, my pickup line would be: I’m so handsome, and I need you to say that to me ;)
In a human companion, I’m looking for: A gentle and patient human, who loves cats and has a relatively quiet home.
In an animal companion (house-mate), I'm looking for: A sweet and loving attitude. Some playtime sounds good as well.
Lots of people say I love to: Nap and eat.
Despite my less-than-ideal start in life, I have flourished in FAN's care. My story involves a severely infected leg that FAN helped save and avoid amputation. I am now confident, healthy and so gorgeous. I love a quiet and loving environment, lots of treats, and good feline and human friends.

It’s important to set reasonable expectations when bringing any new cat home. We offer the Rule of Threes.
3 DAYS: To decompress
3 WEEKS: To get familiar with your house and its routines
3 MONTHS: To settle in and feel like they’re home
Adding a new animal to your household can be a whirlwind of an experience for many owners. There is a lot of change happening for your new cat, so it’s not uncommon for the cat’s behavior to change accordingly. They may be acting in ways you’ve never seen before, and this can be discouraging.
These “rules” are estimated marker points where you may see behavioral changes from your new cat.
SEE https://www.feralaffairs.org/faq/ to learn how long it may take to acclimate your cat to their new home.
All our adoptable cats and kittens are:
— spayed / neutered
— vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP)
— microchipped, if they get lost (and found), they can easily be scanned and reunited with you!
— tested for FIV & FeLV diseases
— parasite-free (dewormer & flea prevention)
— provided additional veterinarian visits, if needed for any health issues
— conveyed to you with all medical records at time of adoption
