MY STORY:
This guy showed up at a local house and took up residence under their porch because he had nowhere else to go. He charmed the family into taking care of him while they looked for his owners and contacted us for help. Without a microchip and no one every getting in touch with us about a missing kitty, we got him ready to be adopted. We think he had to have been someone's kitty at one time because he was so friendly and in such good health.

Using his adorable tabby marking that looks like bangs across his forehead, we named him Lloyd Christmas after the Jim Carrey character in Dumb and Dumber. LOL He is just an awesome kid that very much loves human attention but is not fond of other kitties so it is best that he be the only kitty in the home. He can get overstimulated - especially when moving to a new environment, therefore we recommend a home with experienced cat owners and without young children. (To be honest, he's kind of a jerk and has been known to nip without warning and then in the next breath be the sweetest loving boy.) Lloyd's foster mom says he LOVES to be held like a baby and will immediately do happy paws when he is held that way. He's also a master of tearing and shredding cardboard boxes and and when he is done, will run around like he is proud of his handiwork! Lloyd Xmas gained a lot of weight sitting in his cage and is now on an exercise plan in his foster home to work off some of that excess. Right now when he runs he looks a lot like a rotund raccoon! LOL He sports a cuter than cute white coat broken up with tabby patches and a long ring striped tail - not to mention those bangs!

Inside-only home and must keep claws. The adoption fee for this kitty is $25. Each cat and kitten has been: altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated (age-appropriate) - rabies and distemper combo, microchipped, tested for FeLV (negative unless previously noted), and treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.
