Poor Lloyd was most likely dumped by his previous owner. He found his way to someone’s garage where he was eating food out of their trash receptacle. The homeowner took pity on him, let him stay in the garage, gave him fresh food, and contacted us.

Lloyd is understandably scared and shy after all the life changes he has been through in such a short time. It will take someone with patience and understanding to make him feel safe and loved. He will need a quiet home and would probably do best as an only pet. “Lloyd” means “gray” in the Welsh language, which is appropriate for this long-haired, gray, beautiful feline. There’s an old Welsh saying: “So here’s to the Welsh – wherever we roam, from Aberystwyth to shores to valleys we call home.” Lloyd would like nothing more than to never have to roam again and to find a place he can call his forever home.

Lloyd is FIV+ but that doesn't mean he can't live a long and happy life. He is not contagious to people or dogs but would need to be your only kitty (he'd probably prefer that anyways). This shy boy has most likely sustained an old injury to his left eye and the vet believes he no longer has vision in it. Despite that, he's still a very handsome boy.
