Lioness Domestic Short Hair Waynesboro, PA

Lioness, alongside her buddy Nix and many other cats, came to AHS in December 2024 after their caretaker was no longer able to keep them. This girl is a little shy at first but is excited to find a forever home where her personality can bloom!
Despite the troubles with her vision, Lioness has made herself right at home in our free-roam cattery! She can always be found curled up in one of the cat trees and sometimes even batting a toy around. When she is comfortable with you, Lioness is a very chatty lady and will always purr for ear or butt scratches. There are times she gets a little turned around, especially in large or new environments but has done well when shown where her food/water bowels and litterboxes are at. Lioness has enjoyed the company of other easygoing cats but does sometimes get startled when a cat approaches her too quickly.
She would not mind a kitty friend in her forever home, and may even do better with a fellow feline to show her about. Lioness has done well with all of her human visitors that have been respectful of her space and not pushy with their attention. Lioness absolutely loves pets but does have to get her bearings at first sometimes!
