LIONA
On a warm August night (August 21st to be exact) a litter of 6 sweet brown kittens were born to a feral mother in Emmett, ID. For weeks the kittens were fed by neighbors but as warm summer nights faded into fall rescue was needed for the six little cats who had been mostly fending for themselves, fearlessly facing nature and the elements and the dangers of an unsheltered life outside. Fuzzy Pawz was able to offer foster to this litter of sweet and spicy kittens and now after weeks of care and love, they are ready to find their forever families.

It is important to know that these brown tabby kittens may need time to acclimate to life with a family. While they have come a long way, time, patience and trust building exercises will be essential to bond with these little tigers. For that reason forever homes must not have young children and ideally you will have a confident cat or dog to help bring your new best friend out of their shell. These little wild at kittens will be VERY shy upon first meeting, but with love and time you won’t have a better companion.

Liona, of Italian origin, means lioness. This courageous little lioness lives up to her name and will overcome her cautiousness to be the love of her forever families life. The shyest of her sisters, she loves to explore the house and is always curious to see what her foster mom is doing. She is obsessed with churu treats and she will lick them from her foster mom’s fingers. The bond you can build with Liona will be unbreakable, but she will likely always be shy with new people. Liona has an independent spirit but loves her siblings and the other foster cats in her home. A confident cat best friend would be ideal in her forever home to help her continue to come out of her shell. There is an amazing girl inside of Liona, she will need her perfect match to help her become her best self.

Liona loves cat trees, wand toys and wrestling with the other kittens. She has a fun and vibrant personality. She also loves to bird watch and nap in window sills.
