Meet Lieutenant
WE CAN NOT REPLY TO INQUIRIES SENT VIA PETFINDER .
Hello, I'm Lieutenant, I am a male, orange and white kitten, I have more white then my sibling, Captain. I was born on March 12, 2024 along with my siblings, Sarge and Captain. My life is like a comic book superhero story. One day, I was exploring when I stumbled upon a hidden cave. Inside was a villain, planning to steal all the catnip in the world! I jumped into action, using my intelligence and energy to outwit him. In the end, I saved the day, but my adventure led me here to the shelter. I'm brave, yet goofy, independent, but love playtime. I am loyal to my friends and smart as a whip. I am ready to bring joy and excitement into your life. Adopt me, and let's write our own adventure story together. I am totally boxed trained, don't mind my nails being trimmed, and I love other cats,
An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet/greet can be set up. http://yvpr.org/catadoptionapplication.html)
If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes.
Meet/greets and adoptions take place at a site chosen by the adoption coordinator. If the cat you wanted to adopt is no longer available, please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through and it may be relisted. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations and worming. Flea treatment and veterinary care will be provided if necessary. If you are from out of town you will need a pre-paid spay/neuter receipt from your own veterinarian.
For more information go to http://yvpr.org/adoptions.html
Thank you for thinking adoption and Good Luck!
