Meet Libby
We don’t know much about Libby’s background but when she was first noticed in a local neighborhood, it was clear that she wanted to make friends and move in with someone. She found shelter and security under a family’s deck, and during the day, she would sit at their back door and ask to be let in. When they started feeding her, she quickly showed them how friendly she was. She would chatter and come for pets while enjoying her food.
Libby is now acclimated to indoor living. She is incredibly sweet and easily contented. She loves a comfortable bed, cat trees/furniture, and a window where she can birdwatch. Libby also loves to be petted and will soak up your affection for as long as you have available. She’s able to lure you into staying longer with her beautiful big green eyes. At times she will get so excited with your attention that she’ll start to give out love nips. Even though Libby loves these pets, she also has areas that she likes you to avoid. She isn’t crazy about being touched on her lower back, near the base of her tail. She also isn’t crazy about being picked up but we’re working on it. For this reason, she would likely do best in a home without young children.
Libby is still waiting for that special person or family to open their door and invite her in to stay. If you think that’s you, complete an application today!
