Lemon is the sweetest citrus fruit you'll ever meet. He got a bit of a rough start in life, but now he's just looking for the right lap to call home!

Lemon loves human company. He wants to be with you! He wants to see what you’re doing! He loves every human he’s met so far. He’ll greet you with a loud meow, then head butt you for some pets and under-the-chin scritches. And if you sit down, he WILL try to sit in your lap! Lemon enjoys belly rubs, and he's very fun to play with--he likes to pounce and run a lot and to playfully murder as many wand toys as possible. He sometimes gets a little overstimulated while he's in the "play groove," so he would do best in a home with adults only or cat-savvy teens.

Lemon lived on the street for a few years before we rescued him, so he was a little banged up when we got him. He had to get some teeth removed, but still has enough left to eat wet or dry food. Lemon has a lot of energy and he loves to play and hunt— the mice in your house don’t stand a chance! He's curious and smarter than most orange cats, and his foster mom lovingly calls him a "gremlin" because of his unique personality.

Lemon Elliot is about 5 years old and he is neutered, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. Lemon is affectionate, athletic, cuddly, curious, friendly, playful, and smart.
