Meet Lemon

Lemon is a showstopper and she knows it! However, while Persians are lovely, beautiful cats, they do require regular maintenance to keep their fancy coats in order. Lemon is a very friendly girl and loves pets, but isn't super keen on being overly handled (like to trim off mats with clippers, clean ears or clip nails), she her new owner must be committed to taking her to a professional cat groomer (not a regular dog groomer) or veterinarian for her regularly grooming. She seeks out attention and very accepting of gentle strokes and scritches, but she does not want to be picked up, nor handled roughly, so we do not recommend her for a home with children as she can be fussy (teenagers should be fine). She is fairly active for her breed and does like to engage in playtime with toys on a string. Lemon is also incredibly vocal and will meow when she wants something or if she's bored. Lemon has been raised with other cats, but would also be just fine as a solo cat. We don't think she'd enjoy the company of dogs unless it was a very low energy or older pooch.
