Layla Tortoiseshell Nashville, TN

This pretty little Tortie with the extremely soft fur and beautiful soulful eyes is Layla, born 4/26/24. She and her sister, Nala ended up as small kittens in our local animal shelter. They were terrified and not candidates for adoption so we were asked if we had a place for them and it just so happens we had an available foster. She and her sister ended up having coccidia when they came in which is a form of parasite, but we were quickly able to get them to the vet and on treatment and have been healthy and happy since treatment ended.
Layla is extremely sweet and affectionate, but can be a little skittish at first. She just needs a brief adjustment period to know you who you are and then she is fine, coming to get loves and rubs on her belly. She likes to come up and lay with you on the couch or on the bed.
Layla has been living in a foster home with other cats. She has not been around dogs, but should do fine as she is young with proper introduction. We feel it would be best for them to go to a home with children over the age of 8 years. OF COURSE ADULT SUPERVISION IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGE WITH ANY YOUNG CHILDREN AROUND SMALL ANIMALS.
Layla has been spayed, FIV/feLV tested negative, received her Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, been dewormed, parasite treated and on flea/tick preventative. She has been microchipped.
