He enjoys the simple pleasures in life, such as treats and cozy naps in the sun. He is gentle, but timid. He had a lot of changes early in life and he would appreciate a family that would let him ease into the new norm. Kristoff came to our rescue as a small kitten. His littermates were with their mom in a colony left to fend for themselves.

For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. All animals are currently in MS.

For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states for better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted.

Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is "on hold" for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to a designated location closer to you via transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call.

We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.
