Meet "Kram" (Creme Brulee)
From his foster dad:
"This guy came to me named Creme Brulee. Kram was close enough. He answers to all of the variations now, Krambo, Kramcakes, Kramwise Catji, Kramwich whatever.
Anyway, he needed a bit of work and cat repair is one of my specialties. He'd come from a broken home and had been through a medical issue that required daily injections. He figured any attention meant another poke in the cat butt and was very timid. He hid for two days then slowly began to explore my house, keeping a wide safety buffer which shrank every day. One week later, almost to the hour, I was able to extend a hand and coax him close enough to scritch.
Day after day I watched this guy shed his mistrust and become the biggest kitten I've ever had. His inner goofball has come out. He's very interactive and playful. He's a huge fan of cat toys and cat food. Truly a sweet boy.
I've seen him interact with a couple of the neighborhood cats through my patio door. He's pretty friendly and seems open to having friends. Still very shy, though. I'm not sure he'll ever be a pick me up kind of cat, but he will do a somersault plop at your feet for petting. He'll also follow you around the house just to supervise."
We think he would do best in a calm home with a man or men. He did not blossom in his first two foster homes that had only women. We think he would do well with another cat-- as he loves to get the zoomies and play with toys.
He deserves a wonderful and loving home after the last year that was so stressful. He just wants a calm home where he can run around and be a full grown kitten. He will play with you, but he's not a lap cat.
Once every other day or so, a solid piece of poo-about the size of a grape- can be found outside the box. He always goes in the box, but sometimes a piece follows him out!
We are very open to doing a foster-to-adopt home. Hopefully someone who will give him the time he needs to get settled and learn to know and trust his new home and people. Foster-To-Adopt families go through the same adoption approval process. His adoption fee will be waived as a thanks for giving him the chance he deserves.
